History and Experience

40+ years of experience

GSE has 40+ years of experience and more than 1,100 simulation and training installations in 50 countries. In 1971, GSE Systems, then Link Simulation, built the first commercial full-scope nuclear power plant simulator and, in 1977, was a pioneer provider of high-fidelity refinery plant simulators and high-fidelity fossil power plant simulators. Since then, GSE has built more full-scope simulators than all of our competitors combined. Combining our simulation background with next-generation training technologies and engineering services, GSE is now a total solutions provider for the energy industry.

EnVision was founded in 1991 and has been providing interactive multi-media tutorials and simulation models primarily to the petrochemical and oil & gas refining industries. EnVision’s tutorials and simulation models serve the rapidly growing entry-level training market for the oil & gas refining and specialty chemicals industries. These tutorials and simulations now make up GSE’s EnVision line of plant operator training tools.
